Wheeled Coach offers Type III ambulance configurations on multiple chassis. Standard features on all Type IIIs include an all-aluminum modular body, stainless steel curbside and rear door panels with reflective safety chevrons, limited lifetime electrical warranty, (7) Weldon 8046 halogen dome lights, (3) fluorescent lights in patient compartment, rear high-back captain’s chair attendant seat with three-point harness, and patient compartment checkout lights with 15-minute timer.

Type III ambulances available on:

  • Chevy CG33503 – 139” wheelbase, 12,300 GVW
  • Chevy CG33803 – 159” wheelbase, 14,200 GVW
  • Ford E350 – 138” wheelbase, 12,500 GVW
  • Ford E450 – 158” wheelbase, 14,500 GVW

CitiMedic PLUS™

Wheeled-Coach-TypeIII-CitiMedic-PlusThis powerful ambulance is designed to perform in a fast-paced EMS environment. A solid 5 – 8” narrower than a standard Type III ambulance, it’s ideal for manuvering inside tight urban landscapes or other space-restricted on-scene scenarios. The rugged design features inside/outside access to ALS equipment and a spacious cab with more room than comparable chassis.

Additional features of the CitiMedic PLUS™ include a printed circuit board that eliminates more than 300 wire crimps and connections to minimize failure areas. It also has corner cap lights with an optional strobe or LED light package, and new reinforced smooth operating pan-formed style doors.
